The contemporary art exhibition "Osyndamyz" is an attempt at appropriation, domestication and habitation of the city's space. Astana artists signify their presence and "leave" museums and galleries to find new ways of communication with their audience, to overcome the distance and alienation of society from art, the artist from city life.
The city is people, we create and reproduce the space around us and ourselves experience its influence in everyday life. Perhaps by learning to produce something better, we can produce a different space and a different city?
How artists in a new city under construction, by making presence through the manifestation of their artistic practices, can change the space of the city and thereby influence the life of society.
